The song is taken upcoming full length 'Not Thrilled' available February 23 via Velvet Blue Music.
UPDATE 05/02/2018: "Anybody Else" is our new Single Of The Week!
Speaking about the track, vocalist Rob Withem said: "I started this song fairly early in the process of writing the album and I feel like it is a good representation of my vision for the record. I wanted a sound that harkened back to singles from the mid to late 80’s that I heard on the radio as a kid - stuff like Don Henley, and Dire Straits. But also root it in an elegant guitar pop sound, like XTC or Crowded House. 'Anybody Else' started out as just two chords over and over laid over a tight, repetitive drum beat. I wrote and arranged the song over a couple months, slowly adding parts and layers, and writing the lyrics the night before recording vocals. All the guitars were recorded on my old Roland JC-120 amp, with true stereo chorus, and I think I used 6 different guitars on the track. The track is also the first (and probably last) time we used hand-drum percussion on a track."

We wanted to celebrate that, and maybe shed some of the grungier associations we’ve previously collected.”

The warehouse, not even a mile from Menin Gate (famous for its daily Last Post), was built on the ashes of the medieval city that was utterly destroyed during The Great War and rebuilt from scratch after it. During filming, we used a 360° travel rail and to get the whole ‘London is a bitch’ vibe we edited kaleidoscopic images of the city into the footage."

Orange County indie rock/punk duo The Garden (aka twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears) have announced they will release their new full-length album 'Mirror Might Steal Your Charm' on 30 March via Epitaph Records.
Taking the audience away into a still unfathomed sound world and bringing back some of the scuzzier elements of their earlier work, the duo’s more guitar focused third album is another sublime slice of post-modern pop. Welcome back to a land that’s familiar, slightly out of sync, and a little bit unnerving.
The album was self-produced and recorded in a lock-out studio in one short burst. "I think it’s healthy as an artist to switch up your environment once in a while. The production is tight as a whistle, but also more raw” offers Wyatt. "The process made for a more focused and personal sounding record, with a healthy dose of guitar throughout. Things are a little more refined. If we aren’t implementing past experience into new situations then we aren’t learning. Progress is very appealing to us,” adds Fletcher.

It focuses on the feeling of loneliness and isolation you get when everyone around you is travelling, moving to new places or going on adventures, while your own life stays the same. Seattle indie pop/jangle pop artist Peter Michel aka Hibou has announced the release of his sophomore album titled 'Something Familiar'.
The follow-up to his 2015 self-titled debut, was recorded with a full-band at Chris Walla’s Hall of Justice recording studio, and will be out on March 2 via Barsuk Records.
While most of the material on Hibou was recorded while Michel was still a teenager, there’s a newfound sense of maturity on this new release. And with getting older comes new worries to cope with. As such, Something Familiar finds Michel coping with anxiety and depersonalization. Michel elaborates in a press statement:
“Anxiety is an incredibly strange thing, and everyone has different forms of it. I think that songwriting was a really necessary way for me to try to express that, because people would always ask about it: What does it feel like? Describe it. I’d never be able to put it into words. It was such a relief when I began to experiment and communicate the effects of my anxiety with textures and poetry, rather than conversations.”

Athens, Georgia psych pop band Of Montreal have announced their new album titled 'White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood'.
The follow-up to 2016's Innocence Reaches and 2017's Rune Husk EP, will be released on March 9th via Polyvinyl Record Company.
About the record, band member Kevin Barnes, explained: Two important events occurred during the making of White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood. I became "Simulated Reality" paranoid and I fell in LOVE. Well a lot more happened during the process of writing and recording, but those are the two big ones. I also reached a healthy point of self-forgiveness for my failed marriage and became deeply educated in the lies of America the Great. I feel like a switch was recently turned on in my brain and now I'm beginning to see through the lies that have been fed to me my whole life by the masters of media and by those who control and manipulate the narrative of our cultural identity and social order. My paranoia began during the presidential election cycle and reached a dangerous peak shortly after the inauguration. In the meantime I watched and read countless works of art in a mad effort to be reminded of how many truly brilliant people there are living/struggling among us and to try to maintain a positive outlook. The works of Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Chris Kraus, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and the Autobiographies of Malcolm X and Mark E Smith were all great inspirations, to name a few. Musically, I was very inspired by the extended dance mixes that people used to make for pop singles back in the ‘80s. It's so cool how a lot of the 80's hits had these really intricate and interesting longer versions that wouldn't get played on the radio and could only be heard in the clubs. I used that template with these tracks, I wanted them all to feel like the extended "club edit" of album tracks. I'm always searching for new identities so this concept of the death of "Whiteness" appeals to me greatly. Might be the only way to save the world."
The band have also shared its first single, "Paranoiac Intervals/Body Dysmorphia."
