New Entry: Flying Moon In Space Unleash New Single "Traum Für Alle"

Leipzig krautrock/psych seven-piece Flying Moon In Space have shared their new single "Traum Für Alle" (‘Dream for Everyone’).

The song is taken from their forthcoming second studio album 'Zwei', set to be released on June 24th through Fuzz Club. Pre-order your copy here.

On the track, vocalist Parks says: "The dream for everyone is more. More money. More time. More everything and anything. We never get enough of enough. Our sole purpose seems to be chasing the satisfaction that never comes. So we work for our piece of the cake that pays for a home we’re only at when we’re asleep. Every day. Every week the same thing; a dream you have to be asleep to believe. Then you wake and wonder, 'why?'"

Flying Moon In Space Announce New LP 'Zwei', Stream "The Day The Sun Was Made"

Leipzig krautrock/psych seven-piece Flying Moon In Space have announced the release of their second studio album 'Zwei'.

The follow-up to their 2020 self-titled debut album will be released on June 24th through Fuzz Club. Pre-order your copy here.

Where Flying Moon In Space's debut album was an extension of their live shows, long improv performances that would last hours at a time, the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions meant they were forced to reinvent their creative approach on its follow-up. Adopting the childhood game 'Stille Post' (or 'Telephone'), the six members would each send the demos around in a circle, recording a single line or changing up the tempo, until the songs took on a life of their own.

New Entry: Naja Naja Share New Single "Copy of You"

Beijing-based krautrock/post punk duo Naja Naja have their new single "Copy of You".

The song is taken from their debut EP, set to be released on April 29. Pre-order oyur copy here.

On Naja Naja’s debut, band members Gou Gou (bass/vocal) and Yuhao (guitar/vocal) fuse motorik rhythms, rough tones, and not-so-subtle melodies to depict memories that range from shadowy to vivid. Like schoolchildren peering into an illuminated crystal ball, seeing a vision of the bittersweet world for the first time, the duo explore wonder and terror alike, all with brutal fearlessness.

Naja Naja’s goal as a band is to have fun, and you can feel it in these six songs. Let Naja Naja’s off-kilter and retro-futuristic sounds take you on a wild voyage and possibly even shed light on the path to a utopian future—or maybe just a party that will take you away from your troubles for a little while.

Fontaines D.C. Announce New LP 'Skinty Fia', Stream "Jackie Down The Line"

Dublin rock n' roll band Fontaines D.C. have announced the release of their third studio album 'Skinty Fia'.

The follow-up to their 2020's record A Hero's Death, will be out on April 22 through Partisan Records. Pre-order your copy here.

Skinty Fia, used colloquially as an expletive, it roughly translates from the Irish language into English as “the damnation of the deer”; the spelling crassly anglicised, and its meaning diluted through generations. Part bittersweet romance, part darkly political triumph - the songs ultimately form a long-distance love letter, one that laments an increasingly privatised culture in danger of going the way of the extinct Irish giant deer.

Check out the album's tracklist and the video for lead single "Jackie Down The Line" below.

Skinty Fia Tracklist:
01. In ár gCroíthe go deo
02. Big Shot
03. How Cold Love Is
04. Jackie Down The Line
05. Bloomsday
06. Roman Holiday
07. The Couple Across The Way
08. Skinty Fia
09. I Love You
10. Nabokov

Watch: AUA Release New Single/Video "Brick Break"

German krautrock/lo-fi duo AUA have released the video for their new single "Brick Break".

The song is taken from their upcoming sophomore album “The Damaged Organ”, set to be released on January 21st, 2022 through Crazysane Records. Pre-order your copy here.

“Brick Break” is pure tension and no release. A desperate, ever-changing vocal line is counterpointed by a stoic array of resonating, oscillating drones. The mercilessly pounding drumbeat creates a sense of unrest and hopelessness—the perfect soundtrack to a future Nicolas Winding Refn film.

The song is taken from their upcoming sophomore album “The Damaged Organ”, set to be released on January 21st, 2022 through Crazysane Records. Pre-order your copy here.

“Post Human Blossom” sounds like an intriguing evolution of everything that made the AUA’s debut great. The driving motorik beat pushes the song forward, while the synths and guitars sound like they are in different, fluid states of dissolution, embedding the laconic, hypnotic vocals.

New Entry: Sei Still Release New Single "Me Persigue"

Mexican post punk/krautrock five-piece Sei Still, currently based in Berlin, have released their new single "Me Persigue".

The song is taken from their forthcoming new album 'El Refugio', which will be available on November 26th through Fuzz Club. Pre-order your copy here.

Taking cues from Spanish New Wave, new single ‘Me Persigue’ (translating from Spanish as ‘Haunts Me’) is described by the band as “A song about the feeling of being haunted or chased by yourself." A bassline as propulsive as it is melodic drives the two minute ‘Me Persigue’ in a breakneck forward-motion and acts as a rhythmic foundation for wiry post-punk guitars and frontman Lucas Martin’s anguished Sprechgesang vocals (which break occasionally into exasperated yelps.)

Hot Garbage Announce Debut LP 'RIDE', Stream "Sometimes I Go Down"

Toronto psych-rock/post-rock/krautrock quartet Hot Garbage have announced the release of their debut studio album 'RIDE'.

The 9-track album was produced by Graham Walsh (from Canadian electronica band Holy Fuck) and will be available on October 29th through Mothland. Pre-order your copy here.

Drawing on the sounds of Sonic Youth and contemporaries such as Wand, L.A. Witch and Kikagaku Moyo, "Sometimes I Go Down" arrives as the opening track from RIDE setting the tone for the rest of the record with a motorik rhythm section with deep organ drones and dual vocals resonating throughout alongside fuzzy guitars. Speaking about the single, guitarist/lead vocalist, Alex Carlevaris says: "It’s okay to feel down sometimes and need space. We as people have to accept that, allow that and have a healthy and realistic idea about having shitty days, feeling like shit and still loving ourselves. Also recognizing that others around us may need it and being patient with people."

RIDE effectively mends core elements of 60s and 70s psych music, post-punk and desert rock with otherworldly textures, sometimes in a vaporous way, other times with quaking soundwaves. Along its 33 minutes, the foursome takes the listener through a multitude of terrains where cinematic soundscapes await behind the initial haze of reverberations and fuzz-heavy riffs.

Check out the album's tracklist and watch the video for "Sometimes I Go Down", below.

RIDE Tracklist:
01. Sometimes I Go Down
02. Rinsed
03. Shadowmaster
04. She Figured It Out
05. X-Ray
06. Everything Stops
07. Soft As Gold
08. Fantasma
09. Ride
