Indie/pop/rock musician Bentley Browning has premiered his new single "Trace".

The song is taken from his debut solo album 'Pop Anthemica', out today, April 15. Buy it here.

Browning was raised on rock and pop and adores melody, he started as a stand up drummer in seminal rap rock  outfit US-UK. Pop Anthemica is a collection of atmoshperic guitar and indietronica vibes.

Falling for a Spanish woman in London, he eventually left for Catalunya. After 2 years acting on tv and developing more confidence in Barcelona he came back to form his own band as a singer.

He formed indie band Explode The TV who have made 3 albums. During the pandemic break and inspired by the passing of both his parents Bentley got to grips with playing the guitar. The result is an album of self-penned and collaborative tracks with Max Macdonald, produced by Henry White at Dental Records.

Watch: Floral Image Return With New Single/Video "Dial In"

Norwich, UK psych-indie-electronica-rock five-piece Floral Image have returned with their new single "Dial In" and its accompanying music video.

The song, produced and engineered by Gavin Bowers (Never Never Man // Climbing Boys), will be out on April 22 through Catch 21 Records.

Floral Image presents their own psychedelic take on 90’s rave-house. The summer sun is spun in a perpetual party twilight through the 4 minutes of drug chug rhythm, Hacienda piano loops and pumping baggy bass. They come fresh from a string of awe inspiring live shows where Dial In has proven to spiral audiences into trancelike, grooving hedonism.

Who knows what’s to come next from Floral Image? Such is the very raison d’être of the band- and proof they’re not to be missed on our recuperating live circuit.

Watch: High Vis Release New Single/Video "Talk For hours"

London post punk band High Vis have released their new single "Talk For hours", alongside an accompanying music video.

The song is taken from the band' second full-length out later this year via DAIS Records. Get it here.

Formed in 2016 from the ashes of some of the UK’s best hardcore bands (Dirty Money, Tremors, DiE, The Smear), High Vis maintain a hardcore energy in their live shows – it’s not uncommon for cheerfully miserable, gold toothed vocalist/front person Graham Sayle to come away from a show with a bleeding forehead – but they’ve taken their aural cues from older UK bands like Gang Of Four, Crisis, Joy Division and Stone Roses. The intensity and passion of hardcore still stokes their fire, but in its post-punk inspired textures and moods lay a sonic adventurousness which suggests the members of High Vis are never going to be confined by any notion of what they should or shouldn’t be playing.

Metro Verlaine Announce New LP 'Funeral Party', Stream Title Track

French post punk band Metro Verlaine have announced the release of their second studio album 'Funeral Party'.

Composed and recorded at home, the follow-up to 2018's Cut-Up "exudes frustration and a visceral need to act", it will be out on 27 May through Le Cèpe Records.

Funeral Party maintains the Post Punk and wild tension for nearly 35 minutes. Between the nihilism of an already lost youth – Teenage Dreams / Frustration / Laisse Tomber La Nuit – or the urge to fight – Life is a Riot – Raphaëlle and Axel let rage take over, guitar riffs are sharp and words are shouted to break the silence. The night was long and the black sun burns a little higher in the sky. Perfect time to let yourself dance and celebrate life. That’s exactly what a Funeral Party is.

New Entry: The Lathums Reveal New Single "Sad Face Baby"

Wigan indie rock band The Lathums have revealed their new single "Sad Face Baby".

From the deft arithmetic of Johnny Cunliffe’s bassline to the cataclysmic squall of guitarist, Scott Concepcion’s distorted ocean of sound, Sad Face Baby’s clenched-fists crescendos and misted moments of poised calm make a bed for what could be Moore’s most penetrating vocal performance yet. Lifted to new levels by Ryan Durrans’s pin-sharp percussion, each dot of the puzzle connects to reveal a deep, animal expression of what it means to be lost while clinging faithfully on for signs of rescue.

Reflecting on Sad Face Baby and the last two years of the band’s lives, Moore says: “The Lathums has been a world of opportunity for us, but things still get to you. We have had to come to understand each other more and the ways the world works around us. Naivety and innocence have been lost and ‘Sad Face Baby’ is the sharper edge of what we can do as a band.”
