Lea Porcelain Announce NEw LP 'Choirs To Heaven', Stream "Ohio"

Berlin’s post-punk duo Lea Porcelain (aka Julien Brecht and Markus Nikolaus) have announced the release of their sophomore album 'Choirs To Heaven'.

Speaking of the album, the duo share, “this album resembles a big moment for us. That is a recollection of so many memories we made over the last 2 years. We selected 11 tracks in total that contain almost every emotion we felt throughout this process. And we feel to have improved our songwriting on a lyrical level as well as on composition and production. The album is a walk through the different worlds of Lea Porcelain.”

If you would like to support us, share the song with as many people as you can, put it in to your Spotify playlists and stream it day and night.". The video was directed by Peter Kaaden with Cezari Zacharewicz as DOP and Lera Abova as the main protagonist of the video, while being under quarantine in Funkhaus Berlin.

Watch: Lea Porcelain Drop Music Video For "If Time Was on My Side"

Berlin’s post-punk duo Lea Porcelain (aka Julien Brecht and Markus Nikolaus) have dropped the video for their newest single "If Time Was on My Side".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their upcoming new EP due this April. Buy the single here.

About the track, the band said: “It’s about the times when everything that’s on your mind is in a turmoil. The one you’re with could be your greatest adventure or your greatest burden and you always weigh the pro’s and con’s up, for a long time, until you eventually realise that this way of thinking is misleading and is not at all what you want or ’what it’s about’ – and you pretty much misdirected yourself. The song takes a turn at the last chorus and outro, it cries out for just another moment of togetherness, no matter the cost.”

Watch the video below, it was directed by Micki Rosi Richter and Lea Porcelain.

Watch: Lea Porcelain Air Music Video For "Gotta Run"

Berlin’s post-punk duo Lea Porcelain (aka Julien Brecht and Markus Nikolaus) have aired the video for their newest single "Gotta Run".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their upcoming new EP due this April. Buy the single here.

About the track, the band said: “ This has been one of our favourite tracks to play live. The song is an energetic fusion that holds the balance between light and shadow. It makes you feel simultaneously strong and reverent”.

And about the clip they said: "The video shows a priest who visibly struggles with himself and with the life that he has chosen, in search of something that he enjoys, in the dreary everyday life. And when he searches for truth, he starts to dance. And he feels he sacrifices himself for something he now doubts, whether it exists, in which he tries to feel himself again and to exist himself.”
