New Entry: Juliper Sky Premiere New Single "Into the Outer Light"

Manchester dream pop/psych/indie five-piece Juliper Sky have premiered their new single "Into the Outer Light".

The song is taken from their forthcoming EP 'Modern Fantasy', due in 2021.

Sonically ‘Into the Outer Light’ continues to build upon much of the Shoegaze sounds encapsulated in the bands earlier releases. Made up of lush reverbs, pounding drums and soaring vocal hooks.

Jamie Lambert (Vocalist, Guitar) commented on how “lyrically ‘Into the Outer Light’ explores the feelings and emotions of starting a new journey. When you have got to a point in your life which seems directionless and without purpose, but through an event or encounter those feelings suddenly change and a new cycle begins. The song has been in the making for a while but the lyrics gained a new meaning in light of the current world around us. I’m sure a lot of people, ourselves included, have used the past few months to reflect and question our current directions in life”.  

Liam Grindell (Guitar, Synth) commented “We wanted to write a body of music that is in essence, going from point A to point B. ‘Into the Outer Light’ is the first single release which forms part of a bigger picture aiming towards 2021's EP release. The track itself is the start of a journey and we wanted the music to reflect this, aiming to create an energetic feeling of excitement, and pace”.

Greek dream pop/shoegaze duo OONA have unleashed the video for their debut single "Oh, the ocean".

Comprised of George Bakas and Kostas Bourmas, the duo formed three years after the split of their previous post punk band Dada Tapes.
