Swervedriver Announce New LP 'Future Ruins', Share "Mary Winter" Video

British shoegaze greats Swervedriver have announced the release of their new album 'Future Ruins', their first 'in nearly four years.

The band' sixth studio record and follow-up to 2015's I Wasn't Born to Lose You will be out on January 25 via Dangerbird. Pre-order your copy here.

They have also shared the video for their new single "Mary Winter". Narrated by a traveller who is “hurtling away from this world”, vocalist/guitarist Adam Franklin said of the track: “In ‘Mary Winter’, the character is a spaceman who’s trying to remember what life is really like. There’s a lot of foreboding with regard to the future on this album.”

Swervedriver Return With New Album 'I Wasn't Born to Lose You', Air "Setting Sun"

British easydelic/shoegaze band Swervedriver have announced they will release their brand new album titled "I Wasn't Born to Lose You" in March 3 via Cobraside.

This is the band's first album since 1998's '99th Dream', they went on hiatus for a decade before reuniting in 2008. Last year they shared their single "Deep Wound", which will be included on the album.

The band have also aired their new single "Setting Sun", which is available as a digital and physical single today (January 13) backed with the band's cover of Television's "Days". The track has been added to our current playlist.

Watch: Swervedriver Release Music Video For "Deep Wound"

English alt-rock band Swervedriver have released the video for their latest single "Deep Wound".

"Deep Wound" b/w the dub version "Dub Wound" is available as a digital download now on their Bandcamp page. 

The dub wound goes for the kind of driving Krautrock vibe hinted at on Adam Franklin solo releases (and is co-mixed by Ride's Mark Gardener who also provides backing vocals on the A-side).  A full length Swervedriver album is planned for 2014
