New Entry: Just Mustard Unleash New Single "Seed"
The song is taken from their forthcoming sophomore album 'Heart Under', set to be released this Friday, May 27 via Partisan Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking of the inspiration for the song, the band’s guitarist Mete Kalyoncuoglu said: “Along with a lot of electronics and noise, I was listening to a lot of music which featured bowed string instruments. I had finished reading ‘The Rest Is Noise’ by Alex Ross around the time we started writing and I was revisiting a lot of the 20th century composers that I first discovered watching Kubrick’s films, like Krzysztof Penderecki. The rising tempo strikes at the beginning of ‘Seed’ were inspired from the rising and falling xylophone in Béla Bartók’s ‘Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta’.”

New Entry: Bolywool Unleash New Single "Inertia"

The song is taken from their forthcoming upcoming EP 'Canada', which will be available on on March 26. Pre-order your copy here.
It’s been two years since the cousins Calle and Oskar released music together as Bolywool. They’ve both been busy with other musical projects but during last year they began sending files to each other again. In times of uncertainty they groped for something safely and wanted to make songs about that kind of security you felt as a child. The final result is as always a couple of songs about lost love and broken hearts. Between the pursuit of stability and total darkness you’ll find five songs that creates something beautiful. A distinct swarm of different pace, sound effects and echoes. Different clavier that lays like waves upon waves.

UPDATE 20/04/2020: "Sorry, I Know It's Late But…" is our new Single of the Week!
"Sorry, I Know It's Late But..." is a Brit-Pop sounding dancefloor track in which the "boys band" was (partly) inspired for the making of this album, opening the field of possibilities of the self-assigned multiple genre that is the "Rough Wave".
One thinks in particular of Blur's "Girls and Boys" or Stone Roses' "Fools Gold" when listening to this track, which sounds like a vocal message left on an answering machine very late at night.
The video was directed by Yedihael Canat. Watch it below.
