Peaking Lights Announce New LP 'E S C A P E', Stream "EVP"

Los Angeles-based dub pop/psych/electro pop duo Peaking Lights (husband and wife Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis) have announced the release of their new studio album 'E S C A P E'.

The record catches the Californian — now European natives — at their finest, replete with atmospheres of homemade-percussive dub, that sit alongside wondrous landscapes of electronic pop and placid krautrock-like hooks, all tied together by Indra Dunis’ composed and hypnotic vocal charm.

Watch: Only Shadows Air Music Video For New Single "Escape"

UK indie rock/alt band Only Shadows have aired the video for their brand new single "Escape".

The song has been added to our current playlist and will be out this Friday (October 27).

It was written during some dark days for the band as Nick Ashby (lead vocals) explains "The song came from frustration and anger of the repetition of life, maybe coming from a small town has led to those feelings. It's about getting out of it and doing something about it, not taking no for an answer"

Oakland, CA indie rock/pop band Trails and Ways have revealed their new catchy single "Escape".

About the track, vocalist/guitarist Keith Brower Brown told sfweekly: "This is one from the album sessions that we recorded in a more live style, all of us playing, looking at each other in our small practice room. It is about "the strength — and even triumph — it feels like to look back and sense you've started to make a better, more honest life for yourself than you thought you could."
