Watch: Dark Horses Reveal Music Video For "XIII"

Brighton based art-rock band Dark Horses have revealed the video for their newest single "XIII".

The clip is a collaboration with Italian dancer / choreographer Király (AKA Marta Antinucci) and visual artist T.S. Sanchez. Shot in Berlin, it depicts the coexistence of everyday life alongside the surreal, in a Fritz Lang futuristic style, with urban dystopian scenes.

When every one of us is broken down into data, our individuality and expression stripped back to numbers and algorithms, is this an attempt to detach people from their humanity?

The Holocaust Memorial appears as a sanctuary of emotions in an "ordered system that has lost touch with human reason".

Underpinned by an insistent, pulsing synthesizer, singer Lisa Elle paints a ghostly dystopian scene in which every one of us is broken down into data, our individuality and expression stripped back to numbers and algorithms.

As the razor-sharp guitars crash in, she urges you to run... because what else is there left to do in a world where the rich and powerful can tap deep into our inner psyche at the click of a button and the smell of a few dollars more?

Watch: Dark Horses Share Music Video For "Saturn Returns"

Brighton based art-rock outfit Dark Horses have shared the video for their latest single "Saturn Returns".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from the band's latest album 'Hail Lucid State', released in August last year through Last Gang Records. Buy your copy here.

The video was directed by Samuel Nicolas Horn, Saturn Returns and "is a ritual broadcast reminiscent of the TOPY home videos of the 1980's and the Kenneth Anger films of the 1960's and '70’s. It is an interference transmission from Dark Horses with the aim of destroying the negative aspects of the influence of Saturn which represent restriction and death. The film also contains strong themes of anti establishment and rebirth with many rich, symbolic, esoteric and qabalistic correspondences."
