New Entry: Vlimmer Releases New Single "Kronzeuge"

Berlin-based coldwave/darkwave/post punk project Vlimmer (aka Alexander Leonard Donat) has released his new single "Kronzeuge".

The song, backed with a German version of Depeche Mode's "It's No Good", is out now via Blackjack Illuminist Records, and is taken from his upcoming sophomore album 'Menschenleere", which is due later this year.

Watch: Def Nettle Reveal Music Video for "War Machine"

Irish post-funk band Def Nettle have revealed the video for their latest single "War Machine".

The song is part of our current playlist and came out last month (May 17). Grab it here.

With frontman Glen Brady on vocals/guitar, and featuring Andy Smith of The Smiths on bass guitar, the song touches on themes of arrogance and addiction, ‘War Machine’ also features Jay Oglesby on drums as well as guitars by Graeme Slattery.

Glen Brady says: “The lyrics to ‘War Machine’ were written when I was driving home from dropping a good friend to a drug and alcohol recovery clinic. I found myself making a comparison between that experience and the planet’s profound need for ecological rehabilitation.”

Fronted by experienced musician Aldous Emerson, Dream Dali have been warping minds and transfixing audiences since their inception, with last year seeing the band take it up a notch thanks to the release of their debut EP ‘Life in Legato’.

Now, Dream Dali are here once again with their enamouring single ‘Rosary’, digging in deep with relentless, trance-inducing drums, brain-snagging bass notes and the compelling vocal of Aldous as it sweeps through in subdued desperation.
