Then Comes Silence Announce New LP 'Hunger', Stream "Chain"

Swedish post punk/dark wave band Then Comes Silence have announced the release of their sixth studio album 'Hunger'.

The follow-up to 2020's Machine, will be out on July 1st via Nexilis and Metropolis Records. Buy your copy here.

At a time when tortured artists are releasing introspective, doom-heavy, pandemic-obsessed new material in droves, Then Comes Silence is once again heroically swimming against the tide, with HUNGER firmly focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. The band knew they wanted to do something different from their previous album MACHINE. If that album was "ice cold water running through a stainless steel pipe on a November morning", then the next album HUNGER would be warm as blood.... again.

As with the previous albums, Then Comes Silence has also enlisted the support of some outstanding musicians for HUNGER. Besides gothic veteran William Faith (Faith and the Muse, Mephisto Walz, The March Violets...) and Swedish alternative scene legends Niklas Rundquist (who worked with Leather Nun in the 1980s) and Jörgen Wall (known for his work with Whale and Thåström among others.), current stars of the Scandinavian wave scene, Gözde Duzer (aux animaux) and Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen (The Foreign Resort) are also on board, while Karolina Engdahl (True Moon), who formed a duet with Svenson on MACHINE's single Ritual, once again provides backing vocals.
