Los Angeles post punk/new wave duo Sextile have announced that they are taking a break and will continue doing art and music but as separate entities.
The two-piece comprised of Melissa Scaduto and Brady Keehn, confirm the news in a statement, saying:
Hey everyone. It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the hiatus of Sextile. It was an insane ride full of ups and downs. We played amazing shows and met amazing people. We appreciate, more than anything, everyone’s support for this project. We would like to thank all the promoters who gave us an opportunity to perform. And we would also like to thank the team behind Sextile that helped make this all happen, you know who you are. We will be continuing to do art and music but as separate entities for now.
Since its inception in 2015, Sextile have gained a devout following thanks to the seductive energy of their live shows and non-stop touring.

British synth-pop legends Pet Shop Boys have announced the release of a new EP called 'Agenda'.
The band have also shared a lyric video for their new song "Give Stupidity a Chance". Another song will be made available tomorrow, then one on Thursday and finally the fourth on Friday. Discussing the EP, Neil Tennant said: “It contains three satirical songs and one rather sad song. I think it’s because of the times we’re living through.” The four tracks were produced by Tim Powell and Pet Shop Boys and recorded towards the end of last year. They will not be included on Pet Shop Boys’ next album which is being produced by Stuart Price and is due for release in the autumn.
