Philadelphia jangle pop/indie pop band Mercury Girls have unleashed their new single "Holly".
They are one of the most talked-about new bands in ages. Featuring members of Literature, Little Big League and Pet Milk, Mercury Girls have a gorgeous, layered sound that combines post-punk dynamics with soaring/jangling guitars, fantastic melodies and expertly-arranged tunes.

Oasis will reissue their 1997's album Be Here Now, the third instalment of their Chasing The Sun: 1993-1997 series, including rare and unreleased recordings and other bonus features.
Remastered from the original tapes, the album will be released on October 7th via Big Brother Recordings, with special editions including the highly anticipated 'Mustique Demos’- the previously unreleased album demos recorded in 1996, plus unreleased and rare tracks from the 'Be Here Now' era. Legendary British rock group Led Zeppelin are set to expand their 'BBC Sessions' compilation for a new re-issue called THE COMPLETE BBC SESSIONS.
Nearly 20 years ago, Led Zeppelin introduced BBC SESSIONS, an acclaimed two-disc set of live recordings selected from the band¹s appearances on BBC radio between 1969 and 1971.
The compilation will be out on September 26, newly remastered (supervised by Jimmy Page), and expanded with eight unreleased BBC recordings, including three rescued from a previously lost session from 1969. Pre-order here
Jimmy Page recently spoke to Guitar World about the impact those sessions had on the band: “The BBC Sessions show in graphic detail just how organic the group was. Led Zeppelin was a band that would change things around substantially each time it played…We were becoming tighter and tighter, to the point of telepathy.”

Tampa FL, post-punk band Merchandise have announced details of their new album 'A Corpse Wired For Sound', alongside the video for their new track "End Of The Week".
For the follow-up to 2014's 'After The End', the trio travelled to Rosà, Italy for their first ever sessions in a recording studio, with local producer, ICIO.
The nine-song nocturnal A Corpse Wired For Sound was recorded half in the studio and half at home, in Tampa as well as Cox’s newly adopted bases of New York and Berlin – the culmination of a long-distance collaboration between Cox and Vassalotti. It will be out on 23rd September via 4AD.

Canadian dream pop/shoegaze/post rock band Slow Down Molasses have announce they will release their new album titled '100% Sunshine' on September 2 via Noyes Records.
Produced by Chad Munson and mixed in Glasgow by Tony Doogan (best known for his work with Mogwai and Belle & Sebastian), 100% Sunshine channels the bleaker side of indie rock, evoking shoegaze, dream-pop, psychedelic rock and darkwave at once.
The band have also shared the album's first taste "Moon Queen", a "superblast of searing noise in true early-1990s form, contagious four-on-the- floor rock’n’roll underscored by waves of drone and feedback".

About the track, the band explained: "'Horror Movie' weaves dark lyrical content with an upbeat tempo and cheerful pop melody, reflecting the experience of trying to process trauma without the luxury of time and space to fall apart. The song also evokes a sense of triumph upon arriving at a point of clarity, resisting the ongoing, relentless urge to blame oneself for an abusive relationship, and coming out on the other side stronger and wiser than before."

The duo have revealed their first single "Cracks in the Concrete", which is out now via Lost Map as a PostMap postcard accompanied of a disco remix b-side by London DJ Nadia Ksaiba.
About the track, Gernedel said:
The line "cracks in the concrete" was partly inspired by the French phrase “sous les páves, la plage!” which came up during the student revolts there in May ’68. Roughly translated it says "there is sand underneath the pavement!". It’s talking about the potential of things breaking and breaking up things. Everything falling apart and you telling yourself that it’s going to work out ("everything is healing").
