In a press release, the singer described the song as "a cautionary tale about obsession, and how a misguided search for meaning and purpose may lead some to very dark places."

The video, directed by Brandon William Fletcher, is a throwback to the era of grainy, early '80s MTV, showing the singer as a floating head punctuated by stylized Tron-esque visuals of the other musicians.

Paradox Obscur Announce New LP 'Morphogenesis', Stream "Animal Reactor"

Greek minimal synth/cold wave duo Paradox Obscur (aka Kriistal Ann and Toxic Razor) have announced the release of their new album 'Morphogenesis'.

The follow-up to last year's , will be out on May 6th via Metropolis Records, pre-orders will start on April 1st.

Paradox Obscur formed in 2014, made up of prolific producers Toxic Razor and Kriistal Ann, who both share a love for recording electronics in realtime to deliver their unfiltered unique electronic sound. This is not your typical electronic duo, they experiment and do not feel the need to move around in the shadows.

About the new record the duo said: Took us 18 months and a lot of work until this new album reached its final stage. ๐Œ๐Ž๐‘๐๐‡๐Ž๐†๐„๐๐„๐’๐ˆ๐’ is an album that represents a gateway into the virtual world of illusion, one that modern man has appropriated and irrevocably strives to keep as an extension of his physical being that is lost in a dream of constructed contentedness.

New Entry: Whimsical Release New Single "Crash and Burn"

Indiana shoegaze/dream pop band Whimsical have released their new single "Crash and Burn".

The song is taken from their fourth studio album 'Melt', out on April 1st via Shelflife Records (USA) and Through Love Records (Europe). Pre-order your copy here.

About Crash and Burn - "As the songwriting for Melt was coming to an end, it became obvious that an upbeat and energetic song was needed to balance out the overall feel of the album.  The first impression sounds simple enough, but beneath the song’s exterior lies many layers of sound that wouldn’t be misplaced on an album like Siamese Dream.  Crash and Burn sounds as equally 2022 as it does 1993 and there’s an excitement there that we’ve tried to capture on all of our albums.  This song is about the rollercoaster of emotions that can sometimes come along with a relationship, especially if things are moving too fast.  It highlights how quickly things can plummet from high to low, especially if there is miscommunication and confusion, which leads to uncertainty about what’s next."
