London new wave/indie/art pop band Artbreak have unveiled the video for their catchy new single "Soda Can".
The song, produced by Tony Visconti (Morrissey, Bowie, T-Rex) at Visconti Studios in Kingston, will be out on May 18 via Wall of Sound.
‘Soda Can’ is a spiky art pop anthem, reflecting on the world of shrinks and neurosis, a whirlwind of emotions, angular riffs and crunching guitars offset by soaring, passionate vocals and pop melodies swathed in tension and vulnerability. Performed live in one take, this is raw and full of feeling, with elements that reference post punk, new wave and even new romanticism but combine them into something fresh and previously unheard.\
The band have been together for just 18 months and it is no surprise that their live shows kick up a storm, as Cole’s bold and powerful vocals lend a heart on sleeve honesty, absorbing everything from Wiley to The Clash, Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Frank Ocean. Artbreak is made up of Cole Salewicz (Vocals), Josh Miles (Guitar and Vocals) , Benjy Miles (Guitar), Tom Williams (Bass and Vocals), Harry Pike (Drums).
