The Suburbs Release 'Si Sauvage' First New Album in 27 Years

Minneapolis-based New Wave rockers The Suburbs, (especially known for their 1983 hit "Love Is the Law") have just released 'Si Sauvage', their first new album in 27 years and the follow up to their 1986's The Suburbs.

Si Sauvage features founding members Poling, Hugo Klaers, and Blaine John "Beej" Chaney, plus new bandmates Steve Brantseg and Steve Price and special guest vocalists like Janey Winterbauer and Aby Wolf. It was mixed and is in the process of being mastered by Chuck Zwicky (who also worked on the latest Soul Asylum record), and the band plans to put it out on both CD and vinyl.

The 10-track album is available in digital MP3 format to download with a PDF of the CD Booklet including lyrics and credits. Also available as a physical CD, in hot pink vinyl and as individual MP3 tracks for download.

Watch: Work Drugs Share Clip For New Track "Modern Living"

Philadelphia smooth-fi band Work Drugs have shared a a new clip for their brand new summerish single titled "Modern Living". The song has been added to our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com.

The clip is accompanied by the following text:

Watch: Still Corners Premier Music Video For "Fireflies"

British indie pop duo Still Corners (aka Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes) have premiered the video for "Fireflies", another cut taken from their sophomore album  'Strange Pleasures', released back in May via Sub Pop Records.

The video, directed by Christian Sorensen Hansen, was filmed in Oregon's Painted Hills, a few hours outside of Portland, and features dreamy escapes with band members Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes heading down the highway on a motorcycle, and also having a relax time in a swimming pool.

Watch: OMD Release Music Video For "Night Café"

OMD have released the video for "Night Café", the third single to be released from their new album 'English Electric', released back in April.

The song is par of our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com.

The single will be available on a a limited edition CD digipack featuring exclusive B-side "Kill Me" along with the complete set of b-sides from the English Electric era as well as 4 Night Cafe remixes, and will be out on September 16. Pre-order your copy here.

Watch: The Strypes Unleash "Mystery Man" Music Video

Irish indie rock band The Strypes have unleashed the video for "Mystery Man", the opening track from their upcoming debut album 'Snapshot', which will be released on 9 September through Virgin EMI Records.

A few days ago the band revealed the video for "What A Shame", the album's third single.

Produced by Chris Thomas, the album was recorded in just 15 days in the studio. "You know like The Beatles did on 'Please Please Me? Well, maybe not in a day like they did, but we were going for a week," said drummer Evan Walsh.
