The band's words: "Care Less was written with a double narrative. On the surface the lyrics condemn those applicable social pressures of ‘fitting in’, much like being back at school and aspiring to be one of the ‘cool kids’. The second narrative is a something of a self reflective one. Caring less about having a sound that is refined and embracing one that isn’t…. We see this track as a major stepping-stone in our song writing and will dictate where we go next."

Birmingham post punk/indie rock band Victories at Sea have returned with their new single and video "Quiet House".

The song is taken from the band's forthcoming second studio album 'Everybody's Lost And All I Want Is To Leave'.

The new record was produced by long-term cohort Simon Weaver, and marries the sounds encapsulated on their debut 'Everything Forever' with a more ambitious, widescreen collage of moods and ideas. It will be out in January next year via Dutch imprint Gentlemen Recordings.
