Sextile Announce Hiatus

Los Angeles post punk/new wave duo Sextile have announced that they are taking a break and will continue doing art and music but as separate entities.

The two-piece comprised of Melissa Scaduto and Brady Keehn, confirm the news in a statement, saying:

Hey everyone. It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the hiatus of Sextile. It was an insane ride full of ups and downs. We played amazing shows and met amazing people. We appreciate, more than anything, everyone’s support for this project. We would like to thank all the promoters who gave us an opportunity to perform. And we would also like to thank the team behind Sextile that helped make this all happen, you know who you are. We will be continuing to do art and music but as separate entities for now.

Since its inception in 2015, Sextile have gained a devout following thanks to the seductive energy of their live shows and non-stop touring.

Their latest release was the excellent EP '3', which came out in September 2018 through Felte Records. Re-visit the video for "Disco", a track from that record below.
