New Entry: Few Bits Unveil New Single "Anyone Else"

Belgian indie dream-pop group Few Bits have unveiled their new single "Anyone Else".

The song is taken from their upcoming debut album 'Big Sparks', which will be out on September 30th by [PIAS] Recordings.

'Anyone Else', is another track that owes much of it’s hazy summer evening character to the recording process, as creative driving force Karolien Van Reensbeck explains: “We recorded at the GAM studios, in the heart of the Ardennes. A beautiful place. The album was recorded in August and the sun shone the whole time. The atmosphere was fantastic. Thanks to the many performances with The War on Drugs, Vampire Weekend and others, we were well prepared. Few Bits has become more of a real group too. I do provide the songs and the melodies, but the six of us knock them into shape. So our sound is now a little stronger.”

Speaking to Impose Mag about the new record, Jarod Weldin said: "I think with our previous releases we were very conscious of how we wanted them to sound while we were writing the songs. With this album we were a little more open to just writing and letting the album come together naturally."

The duo have also revealed their lovely new single "So Fast".

"So Fast was written pretty early on in this process and came together really quickly. I wanted to have a song that was faster than anything we had done before. I recorded a loop of the main guitar parts and sent it to Kim along with 2 or 3 other ideas that I had recorded. She heard a vocal melody pretty immediately." Jarod explained.
