Watch: Spectres Air Music Video For Halloween Single "The Heights"

Bristol psych/noise band Spectres have aired the video for their one off Halloween single "The Heights".

The song is inspired by the horrors of Dean Corll,an American serial killer who was never convicted of the killings of 28 boys. Needless to say it’s pretty dark and brooding stuff.

It is available on 10" as part of the Dark Habits 8 package here.

The video was directed by Joe Hatt. Take a look below.

Temples Announce New Album 'Volcano', Air Music Video For "Certainty"

London's neo-psych band Temples have announced they will release their new album titled 'Volcano' on 3rd March 2017 via Heavenly Recordings.

The band have also aired the video for the record's first taste "Certainty".

The follow-up to 2014's debut LP 'Sun Structures', was self-produced by James Edward Bagshaw and recorded at the band’s home studio.

"If there’s a sense of scale," says lead singer James Bagshaw, "It was really just a result of implementing a load of things that we didn’t know about the first time around." Co-founding member and bassist Thomas Walmsley describes a record in which “we discovered a lot as we went along, and the excitement at having done so radiates."

New Entry: Sundayman Shares New Single "Alive"

Greek composer and producer Sundayman (aka Kyriakos Moustakas) has shared his hypnotic new single "Alive".

The song is taken from his forthcoming third solo album 'Scene Missing', which will be out on November 6 via Inner Ear Records. 

Sundayman joined forces with George Manoloudis (lyrics, vocals, additional composing and artwork) and the creative process and exchange of ideas between the two friends resulted in 'Scene Missing', which was recorded in Sundayman’s studio from February 2013 until December 2015 and produced by the artist himself. Goat Girl are a special band. Songs that use subtlety as their main ingredient while remaining disarmingly fierce at every turn. Lyrics that mean everything despite being written down in the most simplistic and non-aggressive way possible… they are an anomaly in the UK music scene as 2016 draws to a draggy close: four people playing guitars, bass and drums who have the ability to make you feel //alive// again.

Listen: David Bowie's Final Recordings "No Plan" and "When I Met You"

Two of David Bowie’s last studio recordings "No Plan" and "When I Met You" have been revealed today, October 18th.

The songs, along with "Killing a Little Time", will feature on a new album of songs from his Lazarus musical. It was also recorded with longtime producer Tony Visconti and the same band that worked on his final album, Blackstar.

The Lazarus Cast Album is due for release on Friday (October 21), four days before previews for the Lazarus Musical start in London.
