New Entry: Habitats Premiere New Single "Boogie Waltzer"

London indie alternative/tropical groove outfit HABITATS have premiered their groovy new song "Boogie Waltzer".

The song has been added to our current playlist and will feature on the band's forthcoming EP 'Jungle', set to arrive early next year.

About the track,  guitarist and vocalist Mike Lawford told COS: "'Boogie Waltzer' was written in the peak of our sexual enlightenment, coming straight out of college and heading into the abyss of clublife. Half ode to John Travolta’s role in Saturday Night Fever, the other half is a message to all the paper pushers out there… live free without the need to prosper."

The album's title was chosen by the family of the late Steve Strange, and will feature the studio songs that Strange was working on with Visage prior to his untimely death in Feb 12th 2015.

The 10 track album includes collaborations with Didier Marouani (Of Space – 'Magic Fly' fame) and Mick Macneil (Ex Simple Minds), and also features a cover version of the David Bowie song "Loving The Alien'. Pre-order your copy here.

Steve Strange and Visage began working on their follow up album to 2013 'Hearts and Knives' album in spring 2014. With over 15 songs written and scheduled the band had recorded just over half when Steve sadly died.
